About the Author

William G. Hoffman

William G. Hoffman began his career in the U.S. Navy before moving into the high-tech world of power generation, industrial controls, and nuclear medicine.

Over the years, he worked as a cyclotron operator, technical troubleshooter, and corporate trainer, supporting complex installations and traveling across Africa, Europe, Canada, Mexico, and South America.

He attended a Christian college and later graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in mathematics. He became a certified teacher in Texas and Missouri, teaching students from sixth-grade mathematics through pre-calculus.

Before retiring, William devoted more time to ministry, leading recovery groups and sharing the gospel in nursing homes.

His writing now brings together the different parts of that life. His devotional books grow from Scripture, reflection, teaching, and ministry, while his science fiction draws on a lifelong interest in technology, problem-solving, exploration, and the choices people make under pressure.

He now writes both Christian reflections and science-fiction adventures, including the Daily Reflection for the Soul series and The Ascendancy Wars.
