About the Author

William G. Hoffman

William G. Hoffman began his career in the U.S. Navy before moving into the high-tech world of power generation, industrial controls, and nuclear medicine.

Over the years, he worked as a cyclotron operator, technical troubleshooter, and corporate trainer, supporting complex installations and traveling across Africa, Europe, Canada, Mexico, and South America.

He attended a Christian college and later graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in mathematics. He became a certified teacher in Texas and Missouri, teaching students from sixth-grade mathematics through pre-calculus.

Before retiring, William devoted more time to ministry, leading recovery groups and sharing the gospel in nursing homes.

His experiences in teaching and ministry helped shape his approach to writing. He believes that studying Scripture should lead us beyond simply knowing what the Bible says to considering how God's Word applies to our lives.

Today, William devotes much of his writing to Daily Reflection for the Soul, a continuing collection of Christian reflections drawn from Scripture and everyday life.

Through these devotional books, his hope is that readers will find encouragement, grow in their understanding of God's Word, and strengthen their daily walk with Jesus Christ.
